6 Thoughts on “UPDATE on Unresponsive Bidders

If we are to believe #3e and #8 were in fact followed in City of Sioux Falls decision making any contacts with Norm Drake or his 100’s of LLC operations illegal or unqualified. Why can’t the legal system in Minnehaha County call a grand jury to dig into the LLc links?

In the opinion of many, citizen involvement with that asinine parking ramp/developers/ Legacy Dev/LLCs is traitorous to the public on the part of the councilors who voted for it. Absolute traitors to the public’s best interest and welfare.
    …….Erickson…..Kiley….Selberg…….Rolfing…..Erp
Thank goodness two are gone………….certainly wish the others had been ousted!
Makes one wonder if Erickson got some form of kick back!

I don’t think Erickson got a kick back, she said in a public meeting she was not investing with the project. BUT, and this is a big BUT, we have NO IDEA if she is investing in other projects with Legacy. She had mentioned to me that she has some connections to a Legacy investor on the Equity Building project. How deep those go, I don’t know. But they certainly are worth looking into.

  4. Does ThuneHaken have a connection to Legacy? He sure has received a lot of local money from some “movers and shakers.”

My guess is that the City position – on bidder qualifications relative to Legacy – is that they did not have knowledge of Legacy’s problems with OSHA until after the fact of the contract, or that since OSHA is being challenged by Hultgren that they (Hultgren or Hultgren & Legacy) are innocence until proven guilty.

You know, it is kind of like when a police officer shoots someone and the City allows that officer to continue to work for the local police department without any administrative leave interests or concerns…..(Wow !)

VSG- Come on, we all have safely determined that officer was shooting at a shadow in Tuthill park. If anything they should have sent him to an optometrist and the gun range.

  6. I like the word “safely.” The City definitely has used a “safe” dodge in their attempt to sign off on the hotel/ramp deal while having the unresponsive bidder requirements hanging over their heads, haven’t they? Or, maybe they can’t read and an optometrist would help… But I hope they don’t walk through the gun range on their way to the eye doctor, however….
