Thune continues to peddle the lies of 5G

The 5G antennas actually work at 3,000 feet, so they could go on the same towers that current cell phone antennas are. The REAL reason the telecoms want to use light poles is because it is CHEAPER. They also talk about how 5G will help people to be HEALTHIER. You can’t make this stuff up. The reason why rural SD doesn’t have good cell phone coverage is because the smaller towns and counties wanted to actually charge a reasonable lease fee to the telecoms for tower antennas and the telecoms didn’t want to pay it. 5G is about saving the telecoms billions of dollars while bilking taxpayers. This is why Thune gladly took almost a million in campaign contributions.

Google Huawei (pron. waa (like a baby’s cry)- way (like go your own way) and John Thune and nothing comes up. Huawei is going to control 5g and it’s full of Chinese intelligence protocol to spy on Western countries. Is Thune investigating?

“If you play your cards right, you can turn 5G into 1Mil…” …..Our Senator should have a late night infomercial.

The Verizon CEO (& and an engineer) said that 5G still works well at 2,000′ to 3,000′ & that would save them a lot of capital investment, so where are you obtaining info that it’s cheaper to go with small cells that are 600′ apart?

See Item 6 of this article:

And here is the video clip from Verizon itself confirming 1 Gigabit speed at up to 3,000′ when it’s in line of sight & 1,760′ when foliage in-between. THIS DEVASTING TO THE SMALL CELL ARGUMENT-VERIZON HAS PROVEN THEY CAN CO-LOCATE THE 5G ANTENNAE ON EXISTING TOWERS :

Here is the full Verizon commercial from which the clip above comes:

We don’t need no stinking 5G small cells!

Quotes from Verizon CEO & engineer Jason L. :
Verizon’s CEO, Lowell McAdam stated on camera that 4G and 5G antennas will work from 3,000 feet away on Macro Towers. This statement proves that Verizon DOES NOT need to place 5G small cells in residential areas every 500 to 1,000 feet.
“When [Verizon] went out in these 11 [5G test] markets, we tested for well over a year, so we could see every part of foliage and every storm that went through. We have now busted the myth that [5G frequencies] have to be line-of-sight — they do not. We busted the myth that foliage will shut [5G] down . . . that does not happen. And the 200 feet from a home? We are now designing the network for over 2,000 feet from transmitter to receiver, which has a huge impact on our capital need going forward. Those myths have disappeared.”

–stated Lowell McAdam, CEO of Verizon

“[Verizon 5G] is really high frequency [28,000 MHz and 39,000 MHz], so everybody thinks it doesn’t go very far, but it’s a really big pipe and so that’s what allows you to gain the super fast speeds . . We’re 3,000 feet away from our radio node. the cool thing about this is that we did not move the radio node. . . here even 3,000 feet away, we’re still getting 1,000 [Megabits per second] speeds . . . So now we’ve driven about 1/3 of a mile away [1,760 feet] from the radio node. we are still getting very good speeds even though we have foliage in between [800 Megabits per second].” – stated Jason L., Verizon Field Engineer

INGSOC doublespeak. If they are saying it is going to make us healthier, they really mean it is going to make us sicker.

I still want to see proof that the fed. govt is FORCING the city to force this garbage on us.

Here is a visual of what the 5G small cell antenna puts out as far as strength of signal & level of radiation. On the Acoustimeter shown there are two columns of LED lights.

Anything on the left column (strength) that is red (starting about 1/3rd of the way up) is dangerous to human health and anything on the right column (radiation level) that is above 25 (the 4th light up from the bottom) causes biological damage to humans per myriad scientific, peer reviewed studies. And of course the higher the readings the greater the danger:

I bought an Acoustimeter and measured the wi-fi, cordless phone & base, smart phone, etc in my home.

Have to be at least 10 feet away at 25% power & 25′ away at 100% power from my wi-fi router to be in the safe ranges; cordless phone base – cannot get far away enough from it within the house (35′) to be within safe levels; smartphone needs to be at least 8″ away and an arm’s length is better.

So now I have my wi-fi on for only brief periods during the day, stay as far from it as I can & turn it off at night. Smart phone is on airplane mode for 98% of the time & switch off airplane mode several times a day for a minute or so at a time to catch up on calls, texts & data.

Mi esposa will not let me get rid of the cordless entirely, so I put a “faraday” cage around the base which makes it safe if you are at least 15′ from it. I placed the base in the farthest corner of the house in the basement to minimize exposure. Bought some corded phones which I use almost exclusively b/c the radiation from the cordless handset is off the charts as well “when a call is in progress.” The handset is okay when there is no call in progress, but our Panasonic model has that feature – not all cordless handsets do, so some radiate all the time. I use the speaker function on the cordless handset the few times I use it, keeping it an arm’s length away – same with the smartphone. The cordless base radiates all the time – 24/7/365. Have to unplug it to stop the radiation.

Comments from an expert on the harmful health & biological effects of wireless radiation under the YouTube video of Sen. Thune’s 10-12-18 Field Hearing in SF, SD, :

Sen. THUNE – YOU ARE MISINFORMING THE TRUTH TO THE PUBLIC. THE NTP – the 25$ million study of the federal government clearly showed this radiation is causing cancer and breaks the DNA. Thousands of studies have shown the harms BEYOND ANY DOUBT. Every health agency in the past said the FCC guidelines are FALSE. PEOPLE ARE SICK EVERYWHERE! CHILDREN ARE SICK AND CANNOT GO TO SCHOOL.PEOPLE LIVE LIKE REFUGEES; Courts ruled that this radiation has been the cause of sickness of people! . YOU NEVER EVEN MET WITH HEALTH ADVOCATE ON THIS ISSUE. BUT HAD likely hundreds if not thousands of hours of meeting with industry. There is no gentle ways to say it…but you LIE and HARM THE PUBLIC! MANY ARE SICK AND DEAD because of these lies. This is the truth.

HERE IS A CLEAR EVIDENCE OF A LIE: A QUOTE FROM A REVIEW DONE BY THE ARMY & AIRFORCE of about 50 studies on the effects of non-thermal levels (the levels FCC tells us falsely that are safe) of millimeter waves that will be used also for 5G: “The studies reviewed demonstrated effects of low-intensity MMW (10 mW/cm2 and less) on cell growth and proliferation, activity of enzymes, state of cell genetic apparatus, function of excitable membranes, peripheral receptors, and other biological systems.”…Go read it yourself… Pakhomov (1998) – US Army & Air Force Report on 5G Health Effects – “Current State and Implications of Research on Biological Effects of Millimeter Waves: A Review of Literature”

MORE EVIDENCE OF HARM AND THAT YOU ARE NOT TELLING THE TRUTH TO THE PUBLIC – read this review of studies on 5G frequencies from Scientists who actually tell the truth – Physicians for Safe Technology Some of the harms found include: Damage to the eyes- cataracts
Immune system disruption
Metabolic disruption
Damage to sperm
Skin damage
Collapse of insect populations, the base of food for birds and bats
Rise in bacterial resistance and bacterial shifts

Thanks for the info, Wirelessly Irradiated. Looks like I need to have Midco come out and set up more cable and ethernet jacks so we can go back to using corded connections.

#9 Erica on 02.08.19 at 11:11 pm

And says a damn lot when Thune has prevented commenting on that video. We as taxpayers are getting NO say on if we want this or not. They don’t give a damn not only about the health risks of 5G, but they are completing ignoring the security risks of 5G.

Time to start considering moving.

Verizon uses 770 MHz to the customer…3.7 GHZ backhaul in this region.

Virtually all of the radio spectrum is already used. No one in the wireless industry would use an Accustameter for any kind of measurement as it is a goofy toy.

If any of what you posted were true, we would have been dead 30 years ago. You’ve watched Ghostbusters a few too many times.

This Just In ….. WASHINGTON—President Trump is weighing an executive order that could ban Chinese telecommunications gear from U.S. networks, but the plan is facing resistance from U.S. carriers in rural areas whose networks run on Huawei Technologies Co. equipment.
James Groft, chief executive of James Valley Telecommunications, said replacing Huawei equipment in his small South Dakota network would cost about $10 million and tie up many of his 50 employees. “For a period of one or two years, we’ll have to focus on replacing Huawei and not do anything else,” he said.
He added that his carrier can’t do long-term planning while anti-Huawei measures are in play, including a possible Federal Communications Commission order barring federal subsidies to carriers that use Chinese gear and services.
“I’ve never seen anything publicly that Huawei has done anything wrong,” Mr. Groft said. “I would feel better about this if they [the federal government] had assurances there is something credible, and not fearmongering.”- WallStreetJournal 2/11/2019

Further proof that ‘ramrodding’ 5G through is causing major concerns, not just with data safety, foreign spying programs and health concerns, but also overstepping local control. Nothing good comes out of ‘rushing’ democracy.

NOT SO FAST THUNE says Sen Blumethal at the same hearing.

#14 Wirelessly Irradiated on 02.11.19 at 11:08 pm

Erica, you are exactly correct. Going wired as much as possible is the best all the way around. Of course there are times we need to use wireless, but s/be limited in duration & frequency. This discovery started for me very recently (around 12/20/18) when I ran across this video about the Wireless Tech Dangers – of Wi-Fi (how it s/be removed from schools or strictly limited) and the dangers of all things wireless:

Since then I discovered a plethora of scientific, peer reviewed & published information/evidence (I was skeptical too LJL) that is already out there, but hardly anyone knows about. Here are few more links to wet your appetite if you are interested:

#15 Wirelessly Irradiated on 02.13.19 at 10:34 am

For LJL, the information I provided is from scientific repeatable tests, peer reviewed & published studies on the adverse health effects of wireless radiation even at very low levels. As the studies state, cancer & some other ill effects, can take years to manifest while others take less time. I’m concerned that many of the effects have happened already b/c of the explosion in certain health conditions that correlate to the 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 (quintillion) increase in exposure to wireless radiation in just the last ten years or so, say when smartphone use started becoming common place. Of course, some of it may be coincidental due to other factors, but IMHO we ignore this issue at are own peril. Here are some references:
