While Trump and his supporters may be celebrating, Barr’s summary today (DOC: AG-Judicial) made it pretty clear what Mueller determined, with this statement;
“while this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”
In other words, he was the ‘investigator’ who doesn’t have the power to indict a sitting president with a crime, but others could. It will be interesting to read the full report that the Dems have demanded to see.
You also have to conclude that this investigation has NOT been in vain, just look at all that have been indicted and charged, 37 people and entities, with seven people pleading guilty and five sentenced to prison. ALL associated with Trump, his campaign and presidency. No obstruction or collusion? Yeah right.
What’s the point in impeaching the president right now? He will impeach himself in the 2020 election. Maybe this time the Electoral College doesn’t ignore an opponent that received 6 Million more votes.

In fact, how often over the last few years have you heard Republicans say that collusion is not a crime? Even better, wasn’t it Guliani who first said there was no collusion, then he said there may have been collusion, but it is not a crime?
So based on recent past Republican takes on all of this, how is what Barr has let us know so far a vindication of Trump or Republican values? Values, which are certainly not to be beholden to the wishes of a former KGB agent, are they?
It will be fun watching this week the GOP celebrating this ‘WIN’ when in fact all Mueller did is toss the football to Democratic Leadership and say, “Here’s the flaming turd. Have Fun.” I think many in the Dem party and those running for president have said we don’t need impeachment hearings, we just need the next election, to prove how much of a disaster this man has been. It would be like running a massive car dealership and 37 of your top salesmen have been convicted of fraud, and you as the CEO and owner of the company saying, “I didn’t know it was going on.” All the while having huge profits. I applaud Mueller, he did the right thing. He basically said I exhausted my resources, here is the data, it’s in Congress hands.

That’s a good analogy. It also sounds like Reagan’s excuse for Iran-Contra, too, does it not? Reagan’s self-defense back then was his lack of being a policy wonk, and in retrospect, his developing dementia, but what is Trump’s excuse?
Reagan should have been impeached for Iran-Contra or removed for office due to the 25th Amendment. We already know that many within the Trump administration have pondered the 25th Amendment, and don’t forget that Nixon was impeached without an actual indictment from the Watergate investigation, but he was often known to be an unindicted co-conspirator. And if Barr can’t exonerate Trump, then doesn’t that make him an unindicted co-conspirator at least, or impeachable by Nixon’s standards?
I am going to say this right now, and you can all laugh at me later, maybe (Hopefully), but if we do not start impeachment proceedings against Trump soon, then Trump will be re-elected. I have been watching Trump’s polling numbers and his numbers don’t resemble the numbers of a Carter or a Bush41, rather they resemble the polling numbers of a Reagan and Clinton at this time in their presidency. And if we want to end this nightmare, we need to be proactive on all of this with some guts.
Now, some may say that my idea is a “poliitcal impeachment,” but I would say it is not. Rather, I would take the argument that many Republicans have been claiming for sometime, that a sitting President cannot be indicted, which further means that impeachment is the only answer for Trump’s so far unindicted co-conspiracy involvement and why Barr claims no indictable collusion, but also no exoneration.

What the special council did was to allow the political hit job to continue. He could not find a crime- merely said that one might be lurking out there but my staff of dozens of Trump haters were not smart enough to find it. I guess if I was a Trump supporter or part of his team I would be very cautious about celebrating. Dozens of associates and foreign nationals have been indicted and charged, some if not more are going to prison. Just because Mueller couldn’t find Trump’s fingerprints on any of it doesn’t mean anything. It reminds me a little bit of what was going on a Abu Garib prison. What did the president know? Even if Mueller did find a connection it is virtually impossible to indict a sitting president. Plus, those running for president on the Dem side and Democratic Leadership already said before the report came out that they won’t seek impeachment. What they are really saying is they will let the Trump ship sink itself. We also haven’t seen the full report. There could be all kinds of leads in it that would prompt a congressional investigation. Until we see the full report, we really don’t why Mueller came to his conclusion. It also reminds me of Cheney and Rumsfeld lying about the reason to go to war against Iraq and never being charged for it. If Trump loses in 2020, he could see a whole host of charges brought against him. Like I said, hard to touch a sitting president. They tried it with Clinton and failed. The Dems don’t want to go down that path again, I think they will put all of their resources in defeating him in 2020 fair and square.

Traditional Family Values tend to be the nuclear family, husband, wife, kids, etc. That is now seen as weird and wrong these days. Democrats have been wagging war on this for years going back to the 60s when we brought in the great society and attempting to break up the family by subsidizing children out of wedlock, etc. Regardless of what anyone’s opinion is its a proven fact children do better when their is a mother and father in the home. Two incomes, two parents, etc. Look at the black community and what removing the father has done. Money and social status have no bearing on being raised properly and doing the right thing, it helps but, does not determine if you become a good productive member of society. So yes there has been a war on the Traditional Family for decades and its decimated the black family. Its not decimating the rest of American now and its getting worse.

I am curious of this quote, Conservative Here, since you espouse a concern over political correctiveness on our college campuses. So does that mean that, inorder, to be “fair and balanced,” that business schools throughout the land should be required to not only teach capitalism, but also socialism, communism (There is a difference.), and fascism as alternative economic systems?

Oh, and as far as Paul ElevenHaken’s comment about “No one colluded with Russia.” Well, if you look at Mueller’s strategy, in fact, the strategy of any prosecutor, the art of the game is to get defendants to talk, to produce contractions, and then threaten to prosecute these defendents for their perjuries for more serious crimes if they don’t divulge the truth and or cooperate.
But given the fact that, what was it, 18 Russian nationals were indicted by Mueller, who never saw a day in court because they are not stateside? How does one come to the final conclusion that there really was no collusion? Rather, the conclusion becomes that there was no collusion because some of the key actors in a potential alleged crime are not reachable, and thus, indictable, and available for questioning toget to the truth.
Often, prosecutors know the truth or have a good hunch, but there is never an indictment because they lack the facts and that does not necessary mean that their hunch is wrong. Does anyone really believe that every serious crime in this country has been solved or fully investigated?
Also, if House Democrats do not impeach Trump and expose the truth, then he will be re-elected and we cannot let that happen.

Putin is playing a weak hand very well. He’s getting everything he wants: Division between the US and Europe, an ending of the INF treaty, civil unrest in our country, and an overall weakening of America’s stand throughout the world; and all of this is because Trump is Putin’s boy.

Its a statistical fact but, there are exceptions to every rule. I will go one further, I have never met a single parent who would not think their child is better off with 2 parents, if the other is capable and a good influence.
I married a single strong women with 2 kids and she would agree with my statements. Both parents bring things the other cannot. A woman cannot teach a young male how to be a man and a man cannot teach a young girl how to be a women. These kinds of things have been around for centuries and now there is an attack on this idea which is statistically and physiologically proven.
Kudos to you if your doing it on your own but, if you actually think not having another parent in the mix does not help your child, then logic and reasoning are not on your side.
