As of 11 AM today, it seems the city’s maintainers (plows) are all still parked. I did see a sander/plow out on Cliff Avenue though. Those are the bigger dump trucks to the left of the picture. I guess our new Street Manager is a REAL conservative, saving us $$$ 🙁

  1. Good.
That big ball of fire in the sky you try to avoid will take care of it…. A greeny weeny liberal like yourself should rejoice not burning more fuel and choking mother earth.

I’m not sure what they would be doing? Our streets are pretty much clear?

The window is too narrow. The storm will not end until Friday afternoon, but Holy week begins on Sunday. Jesus plows cannot be used during Holy week, can they?

They will never admit to the aforementioned and will use rather the “April Attitude” to justify their decision, which is find with me in April, but I hate it when they use such an attitude in December or January, however.

Maybe they’re awaiting a ‘Jesus’ painter. He became Muslim and quit.

Whats this group have against Christians all the time. Constantly mocking…. such an inclusive group. I thought Liberals were “supposed” to be the tolerant ones (sarc)

I can’t speak for L3wis, but I have nothing against humble, decent Christians. I just take exception to the hypocritical ones.

  7. Amazing how a view of snowplows not being prepared for use can turn into a Christian persecution fest.

i’m probably wrong, but if you plow the streets, there won’t be snow and ice on them, and then they won’t freeze and refreeze. given the lack of plowing this whole season, isn’t that the main reason why pot holes seem to be worse?

  9. Your right Scott, you are wrong.

They are saving money on the snow budget obviously. So they can better use that money on a TIF.

There’s respect for religion but there must always be separation of church and state.

Snowplows are for acts of god, not for commercialization of Jesus. Put this on a plow and get to work.

Oh, I am a Christian, but I have a problem with fellow Christians who ignore, or are indifferent to other faiths or people without faith.

VSG – Regardless of your religion I have a problem with anyone who has a problem with what someone believes and I agree with you.

I just find it interesting how intolerant the left has become with Christians. They will stick up and defend to the death anything else but, the mere mention of Jesus brings out the taunts, mocking, and scorn immediately. This article was about Snow plows but, somehow it turned into an attack on Christians. If you look over this blog frequently you will see often how much the “locals/regulars” on here attack Christianity.
