Another Democrat showing just how cheap the president and Noem are;
EL PASO, Texas – Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke’s campaign, Beto For America, has fully reimbursed the City of El Paso for its March 30th campaign kick-off rally in Downtown.
But the $20K Noem still owes the citizens of Sioux Falls is a spit in the bucket compared to the $400K she is looking for from the state taxpayers for a fence around her residence. If Noem wants to continue to be paranoid about her security, fine, but she can do it on her own dime.
You only get security if you’re a Trump color. One Indian reservation in the state will not allow Noem entry. We built Huether indoor tennis, we can build her a wall. It’s the most corrupt state. We’re used to political bonuses. This is Oligarchy not democracy.
Pierre was the last state capital toget a four lane highway going in and out of town; and now it’s probably the last state without a fence around its Governor’s mansion. So the next time someone says we are last in teacher pay or high school grads going on to college, just remember we are last at everything and we might just like it that way too….Oh, and Delaware’s plates say: “The First State.” Are you thinking what I am thinking?…..(Or, was it that Noem was just looking for a wall issue?)
In Noem’s defense, if I lived in Pierre, I would have a 50 FT stone wall and a moat.
If I lived in Pierre, I would start a prayer chain for continual airline service…..(If I lived in Pierre, I would party in Ft. Pierre…..)

This will be an enormous waste of money on a project that is going to be way overpaid for. Let’s watch to see who gets the contract. Remember, when it comes to gov’t bids, figure out your estimate and multiply it by 3 to match your competitors outrageous bids.

I didnt think you were living there. Dont need security for a part time residence. Also on the half million dollars for wildlife habitat. Only if is not used to inhance your personal property. Put into fixing all the old dams and wildlife properties owned by the state for public use. Lets get back to spending wisely and spending in a way that enhances the lives of the people that work hard to put the money there to begin with. Thank you

What qualified Noem at the time? She was running for governor, she didn’t have the position at the time, just like Robert isn’t president yet. Hey, but nice try.

The real problem I have with this fence idea is the fact that with it, Kennedy Noem, if she wants to go home for lunch from her government job that her mother got her, will then have to walk all around the fencing to get to the front door of the mansion. Whereas currently, she can just cut throught the backyard of the mansion to get to her Lunchable, some Pringles, and a Mr. Pibb (Palin’s favorite…).

MJ, what’s your point? Beto pays for his rally security. Plus, depending upon the potential security threat, the Secret Service assigns SS protection to candidates based on the threat level.
The point, Taco 2, is that people are still bitching about security for our (yes all of our’s) president at an event 6+ months ago – get over it – and when your head is stuck in the sand one might think you have never heard DUH before= thus posting it there when you come up for air
