Man yells racial slurs at teens and tells them he has a firearm in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls

I will warn you, the video is NOT work safe or kid safe. I saw this earlier today and was glad to see KSFY had time in between petting pigs and eating chislic stories to do a story on this. It is a very sad day in our community when three minorities get treated this way, especially since they never even provoked the guy. What is even sadder is they haven’t even arrested the man. While the slurs are protected by the 1st Amendment, threatening people with a firearm is NOT. We have a long way to go folks, and our current situation in DC is NOT helping.

I’m sharing this because in 2019 my son and his friends are walking Downtown Sioux Falls Please share Thank you everyone who reached out to me, I have a name and a report was made, I’m leaving the video up because I believe this is something people should be aware of and that this is not how humans should act towards eachother, especially our youth

Certainly sad but he’s not the first mentally ill to be vulgar and evil in public. Seen a guy on 41st street yell the n word at every passing car this summer.

Do you remember when some would try to blame Obama for everything?

Well, this is definitely all Trumps fault. And when he loses in November of 2020 (Hopefully), people like that guy on that bike are going to go nuts I am afraid….#HangOn

ESG – When people blame other people for their actions regardless of their political affiliation, its wrong period! Deflecting your own actions and not taking responsibility has become rampant in our society. This blaming Obama, Sanders, or Trump for your actions is complete BS and anyone who buys into that is part of the problem. I disagree with many of the Left but, they don’t cause me to go Ape Sh!t and act a fool, I am in control of my actions and responsible for them. Complete garbage if you buy into that stuff.

Trump has opened a big can of worms in this country.

ESG I have a relative that blames Obama if his car does not start or he trips and falls. Obama is his new swear word.

The guy yelling racial slurs at teens, The President of the SD Cattlemans Association on a very divisive and demonizing tirade not being a good ambassador for his organization.

Our legislature is already gearing up for another yearly session dealing with those transgenders. Seeking solutions to problems that do not exist.

Yep! One of the top states in the nation affected by a brain drain and in the news making the state look bad.

Do you remember when some would blame W. for everything? Trump needs to be blamed for the low unemployment of blacks (is it all right to use that word?) and black teenagers especially. Eight years of Obama did not accomplish that. Racial tension was heightened when Barry was pres. as he would say anyone against his policies was racist. We have democrat candidates for president who are still saying Michael Brown was murdered when the Obama AG determined otherwise. Who is causing the rift?

“Racial tension was heightened when Barry was pres. as he would say anyone against his policies was racist.”

You are not serious, are you, MJ?….. Oh my goodness….

As far as black unemployment being down now, that’s just the extension of the Obama economy, which is currently on steroids because of Trumps de-regulatory mentality; but it is that latter, the de-regulatory reality, which will be the eventual Achilles’ heel of our current economic state. We have seen this dog and pony show before, too, both with Reaganomics and then the ’87 crash, and then Bush43’s return to supply-side economics, a deregulatory mentality, and then the greatest economic crash since the Great Depression.

As far as your “rift question,” well, the obvious answer is Trump. Lets not forget that Trump is the first president to legitimize the Nazis.

Why was this man not arrested for threatening with a weapon? Please let the people of Sioux Falls know why?

I don’t this has anything to do with who is President. This person is obviously an undereducated person and a disgusting human being. Those kind of racist rants are sad. Those young men handled it well.

#12 l3wis on 09.04.19 at 11:06 pm

They did. I actually laughed when they laughed at him, like, who is this crazy person? What else can you do when someone is being a complete jackass? I remember being their age and having friends of all kinds of races and creeds, you learn at an early age, it is what we are inside, somehow we lose that as we get older.

First off its appalling what this guy is saying ! Second , my question is what happened before the video started or maybe did something happen to make him act like this ? Those blaming a president (any) over the actions of a few is ignorant and people always blaming others instead of taking responsibility for one’s own actions is ridiculous!!

#14 l3wis on 09.05.19 at 2:40 pm

I wondered if they said something to him to, even though there is NO excuse for him responding in that way. I have been approached by homeless people several times this summer who have referred to me as ‘white boy’, I just ignore them and walk off. I know what color I am 🙂

#15 Fear & Loathing in Sioux Falls on 09.05.19 at 3:13 pm

We use to live next to an interracial couple. The black husband use to refer to my blue eyed blonde hair son in jest as “Whitey.” My son was friends with their two kids, but I never called one of their kids “Blacky”…… #IKnewBetter… #ItsNotHowIWasRaised

Yes, genius, I am serious. Barry and his supporters would call “racist” and the media would pile on. When that is all you hear it becomes fact in a lot of peoples’ minds. However merely opposing someone’s political views is not racist- no matter what you say.

#17 "'Extremely' Stable Genius" on 09.07.19 at 2:31 am

“….However merely opposing someone’s political views is not racist- no matter what you say….”

Accept when what you say is racist, however. If you claim that whites are superior, then that might be your political view, or develop your political views, but it is also a racist view.

Trump’s a racist. Hell, he and his father were fined by HUD back in 1972 for discriminating against tenants based on race. What more fact do you need?

In my opinion, Trump use to be very sensitive to being associated with racism, that’s why he dropped out of the Reform Party in 2000, when David Duke showed-up, and then he boy-cotted Letterman for while because David called him a racist, and most likely all of this had to do with his past HUD record. But eventually, he owned it and went all in on racism, and showed his true self as a result.

And just for fun, here is a song that Woody Guthrie wrote about his racist landlord, Fred Trump, back in the 1950s….. “Your Honor, I rest my case:”

( – and Woodstock claims: “I think this is the first president with a father named ‘Fred?'”….. “Do you think Abe would have ever made it with a father named Fred Lincoln?”)

The only thing that Trump likes – that is black – is a Sharpie.

this racist deserves to be on foot if he wants to talk like this.
