‘It’s amateur hour over at city hall.’ – J. Ellis (Patrick Lalley Podcast)

I was told to listen to this podcast from a few weeks ago. Argus Leader reporter, J. Ellis talks about investigative reporting, remembering Kermit Staggers and the communication skills of TenHaken’s office. Good stuff.

“‘amateur hour?'”….”No wonder they never wear a tie or shave over there anymore”….

Interesting discussion. It’s good to hear what’s really going on. It would be nice to hear it honestly from city hall. The TenHaken administration should come out and lay off real blame for Huether extravagance, indulgence, and corruption. TenHaken was handed a mess that can’t be corrected 2 terms into the future. It’s not amateur hour, it’s lack of public recognizance. Referring to the Sioux Steel project as ‘Chernobyl on the River’ was funny and (likely) a premonition.
