Some may think serving 4 years on the city council may be difficult, not if you don’t really do anything;

Yes, Marshall’s ‘Best’ is showing up to the Tuesday meeting, trying not to fall asleep, repeating what Erickson and Kiley said, grabbing his gigantic rubber stamp, then going home.
He has been completely ineffective and needs to go. Please someone run against him!
In my copy of “The Dictionary of American Colloquialisms” immediately beside the entry, “as worthless as teats are to a boar pig” is neatly nested … a photo of Marshall Selberg seated on the dais in Carnegie Town Hall.
I have watched first hand the antics of this guy. It goes like this. I agree with what kiley said. I agree with what erickson said. I agree with what neitzert said. I agree with what soehl said. The guy is not capable of an original thought. PERIOD

Who? He never speaks up and never takes a stance. Sioux Falls doesn’t have high occupancy vehicle lanes. You don’t need this dummy on the passenger side to use the fast lane.

I have toyed with the idea of running against him but, the more I thought about it, I just don’t think it would be a good idea. I am afraid I would blow a casket with all the dumb stuff that happens or is being said. I would probably call one or two of them out on the mat and then I would be violating all these pesky “good guy” guidelines about not criticizing your fellow councilors. This is why I loathe government so much, we elect people more often than not that don’t work and are just in it for the glory, themselves, or to rub someones back. Since all their decisions impact my pocket book, I would rather we have less than more government because all we do is fight on how to spend that money. If there is less to spend, there is less to blow on unnecessary stuff. The fact we have been able to build so much stuff tells me my taxes are too high and Government needs shorter arms so they can’t dig so deep into our pockets
