With Noem’s recent arrest of a WHOPPING eight alleged illegals that probably only committed the crime of crossing the border for a job, I found there is a better way to protest then standing on a street corner with a sign about Sally Tomato. We already know these people are awful, showing them this with a sign doesn’t matter. Noem still attains the title of Dumbest Person on Earth. “Oh, Oh, Oh, how dare you protest my commencement! I’ll show you Madison I’ll round up your illegals.” So incredibly petty, but par for Noem.
I decided that best way to protest these deportations was to start patronizing immigrant owned businesses. There are quite a few in Sioux Falls. I’m starting with restaurants. I will now only eat at immigrant owned restaurants in Sioux Falls (for takeout and sit down). I have NOT included bars or fast food, but it is a start. I have always strived to shop local anyway, and to be honest with you, some of the best restaurants in town are immigrant owned, just to name a few;
Sushi Masa, Jacky’s, Saana’s, Oshima, you get the picture.
Immigrants are important to our culture and society, they are also important for our local economy providing many jobs (I actually see American born people working in these places. I worked for immigrants for awhile.)
Immigrants are more then just people who clean hotel rooms, pick vegetables, milk cows, and cut meat, they own businesses and contribute to the greater good of our community. I would love to see every franchise fart factory shut down in this community. BUY LOCAL! BUY IMMIGRANT!
I like to tell the story of how, when I had my roof re-shingled and the interior of my house re-carpeted in the past few years, the people who did it were all shorter than me, spoke a different language, and their skin appeared to be darker than mine, too, and because of this, I just wonder who will re-shingle my roof or lay my new carpet next time if Trump is successful with his deportation plans, and just how much more the labor costs will be for those two future jobs due to Trump’s deportation agenda as well? #TrumpInflation #TariffInflation #InflatedEgo

OH, and here is another thing. Vice-President J.D. Vance (Did you know he changed his middle name from Donald to David?… No really!) claims there are over 7 million Americans not working, who could work. Apparently, they are all sitting at home gaming while their Moms work fulltime at a local BK or something, I don’t know…. But anyhow, he suggests that these people are potential laborers. So, after the Trump administration successsfully deports all of the illegals, is this administration then planning to draft these 7 million potential workers into our workforce? Is that how we are going to get new shinglers and carpet layers, with a draft?

Countries around the world are boycotting the US. Tariffs hurt here more than there. Deport the labor force and there will be no economy. What’s left will be the wealthy because the middle class will leave. How does this help the billionaires when there’s no business?

What a minute, are you saying that Trump’s name is, Donald John, while Vance’s is, James Donald, or was?…. So, Trump is a D.J., while Vance is a J.D.? AND, better yet, Vance has a JD, while Trump is familiar with the DoJ?…. This is all very interesting, and then when you consider that Trump was named after his Uncle, John Trump, who was a MIT professor asked by the FBI to review Tesla’s notes after Tesla’s death for any potential national security issues or concerns, then years later a car was named after Tesla by Musk, who started DOGE upon Trump’s request, the same Trump I might add who now controls the FBI thanks to a guy named Kash, and then who would have ever thought that a Trump would have checked out a Tesla before it was even a manufactured car, while Nashes and Dodges did exist then… Are you seeing the similarities here?…… This is all very disturbing, if you ask me….. Or, should we just all stay hushed about it and let it settle into the dusk?
