Been thinking about this awhile.

It’s time ladies and gents.

South DaCola fest.

Basically, this is how it goes, if you like this blog, and like to talk about local politics, and like to have an adult beverage and laugh your ass off, you are welcome.

I am planning it for some Monday night in March. It will be downtown, of course, and I have secured a private location that can accomodate several people.

Guest Speaker? Winston?

I think it would be fun and interesting…AND probably have some really good conversation with the eclectic group that comments on here (providing they come!)

I humbly accept your invitation to be the guest speaker, if you still want me to be.

Any suggestions on the topic or topics you want me to talk about? I have already come up with about eight different possible themes myself. Here is a sampling:

“South Dakota’s usury laws and the collapse of the American Economy”

“You can’t fight City Hall!”

“The Spencer Tornado and the remaking of the SD Democratic Party”

“How poor little Elian and a few other things destroyed the America our parents and grandparents built.”

New Liberalism: “Where’s the Beef?”

I would LOVE to go! And finally meet some of the people I argue with here! But I have some news… I’m leaving town. I’m moving back to Minneapolis this coming week :( But… among other things I may have to come back for this!
