All the media needs to do is go back 13 years ago to see Noem’s involvement with a church that loves to roll in the aisle, speak in tongues and generally take parishioners money for their own profit;
Noem reports a combined total of $15,833 in salary from 3 different sources $6,000 from her SD legislative gig, $8,833 from something called Family Worship Center and $1,000 from Noem Family Insurance in Bryant.
If the MSM wants a real story on Noem, they need to contact the Mitchell Daily Republic about the initial story in 2012, and ask about her involvement with a kook church called Foursquare. While I was raised Catholic and Lutheran I am agnostic now, but I believe church gave me a good basis for my faith and I still believe in a creator, and I just leave it at that. While I think most if not all religious doctrines (not just the Bible) are fictional tales with some historical references to prophets, the New Testament is a great guide on how to be a good person and has tons of great advice on how to treat your neighbor, where it gets weird is when people flop on the floor like fish after reading basically a self-help book. I will defend my Christian friends and their right to worship how they wish, it is guaranteed in our Constitution and 1st Amendment, what I won’t defend is kook politician who bastardize religious text to justify their racism, apathy and violence towards immigrants. There is a bigger story here MSNBC, are you going to pursue it or are you gonna let the ‘Dumbest Person on Earth’ continue her Holy War against immigrants?
