    Thune is Jim Abdnor’s malt shop find. He was discovered by Abdnor out in Murdo like a would-be Hollywood starlet would have been discovered back in the day.

    Since that time, Thune has lived a charmed life – like most actors – and has played many roles as evident by both his past concern for character and his not so concern for character as well.

    But then again actors are definitely many characters overtime, are they not? But which character does Thune really believe in, or want to be? Fore, that is the true test of his character, would it not be? Or, is that “would be?”

    I suspect if you compare Thune’s situation and Daschle’s, Trump’s situation and Clinton’s (1998-1999), you’d find a lot of irony on both/all sides.

    That’s right: the vast wrong-wing conspiracy was going to beat Hillary Clinton at any cost even if it meant colluding with a sworn enemy of the United States, destroying the presidency and taking down the republic.

    Because of the Dan Nelson scandal Thune can’t ever seek any higher office than he has now and unless he’s indicted his term doesn’t end until 2023. There are no media in his home state that aren’t beholden to the Republican Party and although he went to DC without much money he’s got at least $12 million now.
