That is so many shades of easy. McKennan hospital, the stairway up to 7th Ave. And I don’t even work there. Or live in Sioux Falls.

My guess is the jail? It kinda looks like the handrails near the old public safety building. The photo also made me realize why smoking bans are good

I think you are right, I ride my bike by there and those handrails looked familiar.

    Motto:
If you must smoke, do it near the emergency room.

  7. That is disgusting. Cigarette smoking should just be 100% illegal because it kills people – on the flip side marijuana should be 100% legal and affordable because of its positive health applications.

    Yes on 12 & Yes on 13!

    WOOOOO I love South Dakota!

Don’t you remember the stink (pardon the pun) about how people who lived across the street from McKennan were putting up signs on their property saying “no smoking” but people were standing there ignoring them because sidewalks are public property?

Frankly this is yet another reason why I support a ban on smoking. Smokers (as a group) are some of the most disrespectful people in our nation and don’t deserve any flexibility as they have proven time and time again they care about their own habit more than anyone or anything around them. The world is their ashtray… everyone else be damned.

Those signs are still posted. And I agree, most smokers are disrespectful.
