7 Thoughts on “The Wizard of Sanford Falls will be speaking at Democratic Forum today

  1. At Democratic Forum Mike called my name out Twice making fun of me because I have ripped on him about wearing his religion on his sleeve lately at Listening and Learning sessions.

“I’m sure Scott doesn’t like it that I said God, go ahead and blog about it.”

I just laughed. Then when he said it a second time, I laughed even harder. My friend sitting next to me says, “Boy, you really got under his skin.”

    I said, “Good.”

    The Wiz – LMAO!!

I bet he does a lot of this behind the bulletproof glass in his corner office at 9th & Dakota – making the most of each day God gives him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRf_A07Elyw.

  3. “making the most of each day God gives him”

Thank you for reminding of this line, he said that before he ripped on me a second time.

The TEA party has filed for tax exempt status. I wonder if Sioux Falls citizen bloggers can do so with the argument the city doesn’t comply with state civil procedures. We’d not win but the media might have to (finally) report that city government is unconstitutional.

Wear a lion suit. Next time the wizard addresses you, run down the hall and jump out the window.

Mike was asked a question about a neighbor’s tree growing over her property and what the city could do about it.

“Bad neighbors are protected more a lot more than good neighbors.” He also expressed frustration with judges and the legal system for doing their Constitutional duties. Then to best himself, he encouraged her to call the City and they would find a way to help her. In other words, he will allow the City to harass until they wear down the “bad neighbor”. What a crock of crap.

His job should not be encouraging neighbors to use the city employees be abusive, rotten toward each other. He riffed on this point for about five minutes. The pretty brochure sent recently with utility bills was intended to give code enforcement more stuff to do. The city uses code enforcement to abuse citizens into paying fees and fines in lieu of taxing.

Testor gets it. I say again, you can ignore the city. If they take you to small claims court, opt into circuit court. Then, petition for dismissal citing the city doesn’t comply with state civil procedures. When they pay me a million dollar TIF, I’ll trim my tree.
