  1. Just your run of the mill crazy.

Whats with the “dedicated to” I see on cars these days? Are they dedicating their automobile to a dead person.

Not crazy if there’s truth. Someone angry enough to do this has a story that’s (likely) discrimination. There’s a pattern worthy of federal attention. Remember the city underfunding handicap transit? It’s nationally embarrassing when the disabled must crawl or get around on skateboards.

How can you they play tennis indoors if they can’t get there?

I’m wondering if this could be that things are so crowded in the store that people in wheel chairs, power chairs, and scooter can’t get around in the store. That is something like the last time I was in Gordmans, which was at least 10-15 years ago, things were so crowded, I don’t see how a person with any using any of the above mentioned equipment could get through the store. As far as underfunding the paratransit services goes, it isn’t just that they can’t get to the indoor tennis court to play tennis, there are a lot of places that the people that have been and are being bumped off the service can’t get to anymore. I would sure like to know if some of the people that I used to see misusing the system have been bumped off. these were people that had and drove their own cars, and still qualified to ride paratransit. I became aware of that one morning when we pulled up in front of a house and a car pulled into the driveway/garage and a man got out of the car, shut the garage door and trotted out to the bus. After we dropped this man off, I asked the driver what the deal was with that and he replied that they had a few riders that did that—–had their own cars that they used for things like dining out, and fun things, then when it came to things like doctors appointments, etc. they rode paratransit.
