Weird. Weird is the only word coming to mind right now. Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether is embarrassed we the people are so pissed off with crappy service provided by Paramedic Plus. The public weighed in with stories of crappy service, deaths and strange billings but our administration still won’t make the monopoly service come clean about any of it. In fact they got their rate increase without any promises to at least try to fix the mess.
How about apologizing to the citizens and taxpayers that your appointed department heads wrote a contract that AUTOMATICALLY gives a hired contractor a 3% or greater raise?
Shouldn’t they have to show they’ve earned it? There’s a need for it?
Oh wait, I forgot, it’s an out of state company, they get preferential treatment under the Huether administration.
