SD, rolling out the red carpet for the privledged
One more reason why SD needs to charge an extra luxury tax on things like expensive cars, motorhomes, boats, motorcycles, etc. I bet $11 million dollars would go a long ways towards fixing our crusty roads. Are you listening Mike? Instead we find it necessary to tax food at a higher rate then a Harley. Makes sense, yeah, if you are a rich Republiscum.
I guess I’m not the only one that thinks America has lost our sense of humor
Leonard Pitts comments on the recent Obama New Yorker cover.
“But increasingly, that’s who we are in this country: ignorant, irony-impaired and petrified.”
What are we paying state programmers? Too much.

Someone wrote a great letter to the editor today about this silly venture. My neighbor told me last night that the State of Indiana implemented the same system, but knowing there would be long lines (duh) they staggered it over a six month period. Well, golly-gee, that makes sense. But of course that would have been thinking progressively, and we know Pierre doesn’t have any of those folk.
