Okay, I am trying something new, because I am in a giving mood (well not really). I started prepping a new canvas, but I am not sure what I am going to paint on it yet. I want to do something Jazz and Blues, but I am not stuck on that, music related would be cool though. Billie Holliday is a siren with a troubled life. I’m surprised you/others have noticed her. Her music has an enduring emotional recipe that deserves an occasional stir. ‘Calm and storm’ could be your emphasis. Tranquility awaiting activity that shows strength but passes with valuable experience and unrecognized but appreciated reward.
I think I will do the image Cost picked out, I have been wanting to do that one for awhile. Good choice. My favorite jazz musician is Charles Mingus, but I can never find good images of him.
You two look a little alike fron a profile.
I like that pict, I have seen that before. I have often said Charles face is interesting, I think he is half Chinese and half black.
