  1. It’s not just the video editing he denies.

He claims it’s mobile devices that only ever have trouble playing video , that’s wrong.

I also like how he admitted it took him and his incompetent department a few years since 2010 to recognize that there was a problem.

I also like how Erpenbach jumps in and tries to correct Erickson by telling her “It’s technology” implying that it’s okay that it’s going to be down some of the time.

apply that logic to your home internet connection or business POS credit card terminal. It wouldn’t be considered acceptable there.

You are right it is unacceptable. The taxpayers are paying for this service, whether that is software, IT employees managing it, external IT support, etc. As for the editing bullshit, I still find it hard to believe that a video would be corrupted in the same place TWICE.

Please tell me this is not the same department that manages the city’s police evidence videos…

  4. Just a thought. If the is considered official record of a city proceeding and it was found to have been edited and someone told him to edit it,would it not have been in the best interest of Mr. Klemme to report it to the city attorney?

What if there are 2 versions? Maybe the original is not doctored but the posted one is. If there’s to much it can’t be spliced, then it’s dark or impossible to open.

What’s legally mandated is a complete record, be it minutes or a video. It must not be edited, hidden, or destroyed. Not complying is a crime if not a form of treason.

We’ve learned to suspect everything. There’s no honesty or transparency at city hall.
