7 Thoughts on “Accomplishments?

Meanwhile Ellis Rd is still single lane either way, the 41st St interchange still has been updated like all the others, the city departments haven’t expanded to meet population growth, and the list goes on. The area around our jewel Denny looks like a oil town with run down, vacant buildings and shitty motels. The area coming off 41st St welcomes visitors with a half empty mall, casinos, and now a temp RV/Trailer dealer in a rundown lot? It’s downright embarrassing.

  2. The my man Mike legacy, an expanding debt, driven by his geed, ridden with corruption from the top? He is the shinning example of a dull bulb.

Another “prime” site that nobody wants – in the shadow of The Denty (across from BWW).

That Sports & Entertainment District is really hopping!!

You left things out; TIF’s, Parking Meters, Snowcat, Pavilion Bailout, City Administration Expansion, Director Raises, etc.. Add everything with the 80 million left over from Munson and there’s a half billion in debt that’s leading into Junk Bond Rating. I’m amazed at the spending. Yet, we can’t afford more police and can’t give the ones who didn’t leave a raise.

  5. That old Ford dealership on 41st lot does look awful. It gives the street a North Cliff feel.

South Louise looks great, however, accept that that improvement should have been done in the 1990s. My guess is that Sears and/or Younkers will be closed in five years, then what?

And don’t get me going about Lake Lorraine. I think the retail element of that development is about exciting as Shasta Cola. Five years from now, Hobby Lobby will probably be the only retailer still there – and they were merely a lateral move from an other strip mall…

But a lot of these problems go beyond City leadership, because they are the by-products of a growing dot com economy and our world is definitely changing as we all know….. (The lost of “Bucks,” I think was the canary in the coal mine (or was it the loss of Krispy Kreme? 😉 ))

When that egotist runs for office again that spending record of his is exactly what his opponent needs to hammer on over and over. It’s one thing to increase spending for basic services but his excessive spending on entertainment facilities is owned by nobody but him. He can’t run from it or point fingers – it’s all his. People that are fiscally responsible should be disgusted. He really should run for Congress, he would fit in well with that body of turds who are bankrupting the nation.

Judge Wopner adds catalyst here, welcome. Can’t we find someone Huether groped so he can be eliminated politically? The way of this culture is headed so that all political offices will be women. I know not to run because I stared at cleavage once.
