I heard from a reliable source tonight that there has been some major rumblings across the state about the current leadership of the SD Republican Party.

I’m not sure at this point how widespread the concern is, but let’s just say, Paula Hawks’ resignation wouldn’t hold a candle to this disruption if it happens.

It’s just too bad it has nothing to do with Noem leaving office. But we can all dream? Can’t we?

12 Thoughts on “Is there a major shakeup coming in the South Dakota GOP?

It’s known that the Republicans are moving their main office to Sioux Falls for the 2020 cycle. Does that have anything to do with it?

Apparently, they are fuming behind the scenes about how they gave up seats in 9, 13, and 14 in 2018, and thus, want them back.

If you remember right, when Lederman was first elected state chair a few years ago, Thune, Rounds, and Daugaard all publicly endorsed his opponent, who at the time, was the incumbent chair. So, I have always wonder about how that overall relationship is still doing, and does this current rumor speak to that?

“Maybe the Saudis are behind it, huh?”

Are you talking about the recent news stories of the SDGOP chair’s job pro-Saudi Arabia work?

Despite Republican faults, Democrats are not organized enough to capture key elections. This is a red state. Freedom and individual rights are subject to republican fancy. Don’t go against them or Trump will hit you with an air strike.

Trump hitting people with airstrikes, that was actually funny, it really was. I wish he would hit Nancy Pelosi with an airstrike, now that would be funny. While he is at it, I would like one on Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Chuck Shumer, Lindsay Graham, AOC, and Talib. I think that could pass a good Bipartisan vote, thoughts??

CH: my thoughts are you are exactly the type of knuckle-dragger that makes SD such an inbred, white trash nightmare ass-backward Red bastion of “What my daddy always said” cognitive constipation that it is. You’re an idiot.

    RV,

Good point, and check out Thune Haken’s most recent video. You would think he was running for the House and not monitoring city hall so much.

Plausible Deniability – That was a joke, my word get a grip. Some of you people are wound so tight I bet you would produce a diamond in 10 minutes if a piece of coal was shoved in your hinny. Relax dude, I was responding to someone else’s post on Drone strikes. You can tell you folks on the left have no sense of humor anymore with all your PC talk. I try to find common ground with you folks at times and I was trying to lighten the mood a little. I am sure you are real fun at parties.

VSG – Thanks for the prayers I will take it, and once again it was a joke
