It turns out, the difference between a pitbull and a hockey mom isn’t just lipstick, its designer lipstick, Manolo Blahnik pumps, and a $2,500 Valentino jacket. That should keep you warm at the Iron Dog snowmachine race.

Hossenpheffer- funny post, I just have to ask. Are you a guy or girl? The impeccable spelling of overpriced shoes concerns me.

Oooo! I love surprises.

Oh please. Who cares. This does not reflect usual Palin’s shopping habits. And this represents about five tickets to the $28,000 Hollywood elite fundraiser for Obama. Wonder where they do their shopping. Funny how you guys are beating on Palin for this, but don’t give a damn really big money…how Obama got twice the campaing contributions from the housing/financial industry than McCain, and how Bawney Fwank has been in bed with the same industry he’s supposed to oversee.

#6 l3wis on 10.24.08 at 9:11 am

Didn’t know Barney was running for VP with Obama either?

#7 Anon on 10.24.08 at 9:14 am

No but Bawney he’s partially responsible for the mess we are in. Bigger money, bigger deal.

#8 Anon on 10.24.08 at 9:15 am

sorry, IS, not he’s.

#9 Anon on 10.24.08 at 9:31 am

And if that’s not crooked, I don’t know what is.

Bawney, Swarmey

McCain campaign’s seem ignort of the power of the Internet and the instant fact-checking that has changed the nature of the news and political campaigns forever. For example the wonderful vetting process of the Alaska governor, which some say missed “Troopergate” and Palin’s pregnant teenage daughter, or the repeated, groundless attacks on Obama that have been easily debunked by anyone with access to the Google, Palin’s spending sprees show an ignorance of the instant access to information and the 24-hour news cycle, and possibly, in the worst case, an outright contempt for the very public whose values they pander to.

#11 Anon on 10.24.08 at 10:42 am

Since when do libs think a pregnant teenager is a bad thing? And I guess they don’t care that the trooper in question tasered a kid. Don’t need Google to verify that…saw a video interview with the guy himself and he admitted it.

The “attacks” on Obama were not groundless. He has ties to nefarious people and vote-stealing organizations.

Spending some money on clothes (with money supplied by private citizens) is nothing compared to spending sprees by a so-called non-profit, taypayer-supported organization whose aim is to steal the vote.

I don’t care that Bristol got pregnant, not my kid or my daughter. The problem is that Sarah supports abstinence education – which obviously doesn’t even work on her own daughter. It’s kinda like that whole gay marriage thing that BUSH is against while his VP’s daughter is having kids with her girlfriend.

ACORN has already said only 5% of their registrations were bad and they caught most of them themselves. And to be honest with you 5% is pretty good considering how many people they register.

As for the clothing ordeal, I don’t care that the RNC bought her clothes (better them, then me) my problem is she is stumping that she is for the common Joe while wearing $2,500 blazers-It is extremely hypocritical.

hey Anon, you really need to try and get your news from reliable sources.
try that Anneberg Political Fact Check http://www.factcheck.org

“groundless attacks against obama”?
I supose you feel that g gordon liddy and his nefarious relationship with mr mccain is different? or what about ms. palin and her ties to the Alaskan Independence Party.

As for the prego teen,I could care less. But if it was Obamas family in a situation like palins he would NEVER be where he is today.
As for the trooper, he’s not running for vp. As
despicable as his actions were, he did not put himself up for yours or my judgement, but his ex-sister in law has.

And finally, as for ‘stealing the vote’, I think the republicans have that one down, as we saw 8 and again 4 years ago. But ya know what, we’re wise to you…www.StealBackYourVote.com
