Staggers in the runoff, but I’m not sure he has what it takes to beat Mike. This will be a tough one. I’m just glad to see the Argus endorsement was dead wrong and neither of their boys made it into the runoff. Thankfully this time around it didn’t come down to who had the most money to spend.

Please Vernon – spare us from yet another run at the Mayor’s office in 2014.

Looks like Stehly didn’t fare too well against Erpenbach – so if memory serves isn’t this the second loss for Stehly? I wonder if she will decide this is a futile effort.

Whew, thanks for clarifying the photo. I thought for a second it was a fan club gathering of the Insane Clown Posse.

  8. Staggers doesn’t have a chance. I bet 90% of the other 4 candidates’ voters will vote for Mike. See ya Kermit! Go teach and shut up.

  9. Well, gotta tip the old hat to both Kermit & Mike on showing that hitting the streets counts.

The crowded field helped Kermit this time, but other than maybe about half of Brown’s block I don’t see many of the other candidates votes moving his way other than Janoct’s.

The argus was proved wrong now on Mayor, just as they will be for central district. I was walking home and saw that Erpenbach has an office! Really? This is a district council office, what does she need an office for other than to blow the money she gets. Either way, my few votes cost about one buck each, I figure Erpenback spent closer to 5 bucks for each vote. Fiscal responsibility my rear end. Be prepared for many ideas to spend YOUR tax dollars on “sophisticated” projects.
