RESOLUTIONS AND HOPES

When you say you want to be a better person, do you mean:

Medically (or biologically)

Physically

Spiritually

Economically

Mentally

Honestly

Musically

Artistically

Politically

or just to be a better driver?

Speaking of bad drivers. I had a beauty this morning. On a 45 mph street a rusted out mid 90s Honda Accord sans exhaust system decided it was a perfect opportunity to pull out in front of everyone and slow traffic to a much more relaxing 15mph.

    Not 30 in a 45.

    Not 20 in a 45.

15 flipping miles an hour…with the occasional bump up to around 17.

To make matters worse, about 20 seconds into their journey they thought it an ample time to chuck out a lit cigarette which politely bounced off the roadway. Since that part of town was clearly too clean already I really had to give them a hats off on this one.

The trifecta came when I looked at their collection of bumper stickers on the rear decklid and noticed the prominent “Steve Hickey” sticker.

    That seemed about right.

  2. I think you have the workings of another poem.

    Violets are blue,
    Was Snooki with her crew
    Last night at the W?
