You would think Mike would be used to the hassling by now, but it is all about controlling the message I guess. He has told me several times he doesn’t believe in censorship. Well Mike, what would you call dragging a private citizen into a meeting with you after he posted parody photos of you on his Facebook page? Grow a thicker skin.

• Well to put it this way in my opinion, he needs to realize he is a public figure and his actions on national tv reflect our community. In other words, when your a public official, don’t be dancing around pointing at people like a teenager on crack. Too bad I can’t find a video of it online.
• I am kind of surprised he didn’t find the humor in it. It was all in fun, and he is probably embarassed because he realized how ridiculous he looked. I noticed it while watching the game too. I hope he wasn’t too tough on you. You are not banished from SF for life, I hope!

Whenever a person chooses to become a public official, they should either be extremely careful of their actions, even when having fun, or be aware of the fact that somebody is going to find something about them to ridicule. He should grow up.
Who is JT Nelson? And does MMM have people scouring Facebook to see if anything negative is posted about him?
Well, it seems as if hizzoner’s addiction to TV cameras came back to bite him on the ass. Fer chrissakes, get a frickin’ sense of humor and a thicker skin or get the hell out of politics!
To be completely fair, he didn’t call me into his office for this. I coincidentally had a prior meeting scheduled for this morning. I decided to come clean thinking he’d see the humor in this… Oh boy, was I mistaken.
If the Mayor of this city gave someone a scowling (online or in person) for what was printed about him, this should be made public. Just what was said, what is the relationship to the mayor does this person have, when did this happen and how/whom was this person contacted by for this meeting? Enough with the innuendo’s,what the fuck happened if it really happened. No one should be strong armed by a local politician for shit said online.

KSFY ran a short “teaser” lead-in on News @ 5 on Thursday. A longer story interviewing both mmm and JT was to air later that night on News @ 10. Did not happen.
Sorry, that’s not a story. Imagine if our local news covered every time a local leader was pissed at a citizen. Scott would be on the news every day!
I saw it also and comment to the wife that I could not believe that the Mayor of Sioux Falls would seat himself between the talking heads and point at his junk.
Maybe when the WWE comes to town but the Summit League. At the least very inappropriate, if trying to be funny then you better be able to take the heat afterwards.

Besides the BS argument that our poor kids need indoor tennis, coming from the Mayor’s wife (never mentioned in the interview) I found it amusing that they interviewed her behind a news desk. Most if not ever interview on Inside KELO has been in Lazy Boys. Hmmmm.
