A couple of positives points. Thanks to previous investment in the Kirby Dog park the city doesn’t have to plant grass and have someone maintain it. The design leads to job security for the person who drives around downtown watering all the plants.
Maybe someone can get the city to put up a digital billboard on the building displaying the amount still owed.
PS. Having worked downtown and watched that concrete thing go up. I’m a little happy that they are doing something with it.
I’m all for astro turf, like you said, it is cheaper with maintenance and can be easily removed and glad to see they are doing something with the space. Just don’t go to the top floor 🙂
