I have several friends that are Vietnam vets, every single one of them are the most courageous and patriotic people I know. They made a sacrifice they didn’t want to make (the draft) and when they got home from service they were spit on. These guys know the real sacrifices of war.

I’m a 100% disabled combat veteran. It’s disgusting how Trump has learned to abuse presidential power unencumbered. What’s nearly as bad is his unqualified cabinet and most brainwashed Republican congressmen. Watching this country waste away from narcissists and fascists is unacceptable for me. I never thought the country I fought for could become the country I’ll give my life against.
Will any of our local media ask the two prominent SD appointees on the Homeland Security Advisory Council if they approve of US citizens being beaten and murdered by ICE in Minnesota? Do our own local small town bigwigs not have any important opinions to share? It is reassuring to see they have at long last been rewarded with membership in a group of similarly enlightened peers, deservedly seated alongside the likes of Bo Dietl.
