My favorite remark ” years of taking energy lobbyist cash and hoping climate change would simply go away was like rolling over a payday loan”

Why in He## is somuch of the frikkin’power grid dtill strung from de-branched trees? Put that crap in the underground and guess what – wind and stirms and such doesn’t effect very much except the really high voltage stuff (which needs to be isolated from grounding). Geezous – this is the damn it 21st century, not the 19th.

Rufusx, the utilities once owned by regulated monopolies or owned by the government were required to make certain levels of investment for future growth and demands.

Once the Enrons of our nation began to drain the system of cash, our once strong infrastructure began to die. We are experiencing the death of the American industrial and competitive edge because we no longer have a strong, modern power grid.

We now have Blue Dogs, TeaBaggers and corporatists all trying to scam the system. Take the tax breaks out as cash to payoff legislators and corporate mangers. These people do not even care if the shareholders (the company owners) get a dividend.

There is nothing left to build a system, only a teet to allow the greedy managers to suck the system dry. When it is used up, the Blue Dogs, TeaBaggers and corporatists are going to blame regulations of bad government.
