I hate hate hate our local meter maids. They’re no Lovely Rita. Just last week, I was at Total Drag Records, and had plugged the meter before going in. I looked out a while later and one of these twits was giving me a ticket. I raced out to put more money in, but she didn’t care. I found out later that when she saw it was about to expire she stood there waiting to give me a ticket.
Scott, that’s her job. Just like it’s your job to follow the rules when it comes to parking. Next time run out before your meter expires and you’ll have no problem.
Don’t blame her for your inability to follow the rules. Wear a watch next time or set a timer on your phone.
That’s just insaner than all get out if they get to use their work scooters for personal fun. Your city should have a rule against that.

Motorized vehicles not allowed on sidewalks. When issued a ticket, make a citizen arrest. I wanted a Sedgeway for bike trails.
