I guess since Pitty Pat decided to put this up, I will to. I was unable to use the audio file.

Here is the transcript;

“Hey Theresa it’s Paul it’s about 4:15. Uh, say we had a discussion a while back when we were talking about water reclamation and your desire to go on my Facebook page and stir up comments and I told you how I didn’t appreciate that and I see it’s happening again and I think last time you mentioned it was to defend yourself. I see no reason for you to be using my page, my forum to advance your agenda in your position you have a Facebook page feel free to use it accordingly and not canabalize mine so we’re gonna have to block you from my page if that continues. So I would ask that you would show some respect for that. Thank You. Have a good day.”

To tell you the truth, I really think it is a lot of nitpicking, on both sides. I think it is sad when the mayor is telling councilors how to behave – then lying on FB about it. They are independently elected, just like him. But I have seen this in past administrations to. The last mayor would scold the councilors all the time. In fact one time he even threatened a councilor in a text message. The council is a separate legislative body, they SHOULD be a check to the mayor. There is of course a simple fix to this – STOP POSTING ON FACEBOOK and hold more public meetings and town halls and answer questions from constituents about issues in that forum. I still don’t understand what the mayor and certain councilors are so afraid of when it comes to meeting with citizens in public? Are they scared they can’t answer the questions? Or is it just an incredible disdain for transparency? I think it is a little bit of both.

I thought the mayor was a corporatist, but it’s worse. He’s apparently a communist.

Communists, unlike socialists and capitalists, practice something that is called democratic centralism. Now, keep in mind that’s democratic with a small “d.”

Now also, with this democratic centralism, communist leaders allow internal debate, say at the politiburo level, but once that debate has ended with a policy decision in hand, then the public acknowledgement of a given policy is no longer debated, or at least not in a public setting. It becomes the official party dogma or position.

Now, what this mayor is suggesting – in his discourse with Theresa – is that within his realm, there will be no true debate of issues within a public setting, rather his FB will be merely a sounding board of his thoughts, his positions, and his propaganda.

All of this is just further proof that conservatives really do like democracy. They don’t like debate. They would rather just give the illusion that something is getting done, but then again that’s what social media gurus do, don’t they?… Or, at least communist ones, I guess….

( and Woodstock adds: “Say, did Castro ever have a FB account?”….”Or, where his thoughts blocked by a conservative American mentality?”……)

Interesting analysis, “VSG” (now careful to add the grammatical detail of quotation marks to the abbreviation of your moniker).
    But PTH is no conservative.
His big spending ideology fits more cleanly with those to the east. Were Tim Walz or Tina Smith to be in the market for a digital spook (and contingent that Mpls/St Paul has also given free 5G roosting points to Verizon), PTH would take the gig … and associate with the Democrats. Just as he took the gig as a digital spook for Rounds and associates as a member of the social club with those birds in this state who call their feather ‘Republican’.

Curious what page of the Argus this latest shaming will be on.

Theresa…the argus is not your friend. Their take? Theresa bad. Ten haken and the alex jensen for council political page…victims.

  7. Well, now that I’ve heard the contents of the voicemail, I will not be supporting Theresa anymore.

Using your supporters to create online chaos on someone else’s facebook page is not mature or professional and certainly disrespectful.

It’s not something Kermit would have ever done and I’m very disappointed in all of you.

  8. Ljl, before you rush to judgement, I suggest you go back to Tenhaken’s January posts to see my comments for yourself. Paul did Not want me to comment on his page about issues/conversations that involved my votes from media stories. I called him and have not posted on his page since.

Can’t blame the guy. Meet her once and you’ll quickly realize she is the biggest narcissist you will ever meet. Everything she says, does, or posts is all about making her look better. #conspiracytheory

I highly doubt this is what Sioux Falls voters want in their elected officials. These clowns look like a bunch of amateur middle schoolers running for student council and it’s shameful.

Get back to governing and leave the juvenile antics at home you jackasses.

  11. Theresa, I did as you instructed and my opinion hasn’t changed as you haven’t disputed that you threatened to you use your supporters to disrupt his page.

I’ve long thought you, like some of your colleagues on this body, do not posses the temperament for this job. But I had hoped you would learn how to communicate while being more professional.

Pissing and moaning on Facebook or twitter is for children and our president has been proving that daily. Why would you folks keep degenerating into the madness?

I would say all elected officials need to keep debate on the chambers floors, but we know that is against our constitution. So I will use the abuses of our first amendment to filter out those I don’t see fit to hold the public’s trust.

Theresa, you have missed the mark on too many occasions to ignore. It’s job evaluation time and you’ve lost my approval and financial support.

If someone wants to earn my trust in the next election they will need to pledge to keep their official duties on the cities floor and not on social media or texts/email to their “pals” in the body.

LJL. Shame Theresa all you want. You have a choice. Ignore Theresa and by default vote for jenson. Then you’ll have a 6-2 super majority rubberstamp council. I think I know you well enough by now to know that is not what you want. Shame Theresa at your own risk.

  13. LJL, I haven’t asked anyone for financial support. If you have issues with my votes or behavior, I invite you to reach out to me so we can visit in person. Have you done this? As for texts/emails to the body of the City Council..stay tuned. That will be addressed.

  14. VSG, its worse. The mayor is a puppet of NWO. It is why he is such a huge advocate (propaganda machine) for 5G and “smart cities”.

  15. For the record Warren, I wont be voting for Jesen/Paulson either. Integrity earns my support and vote. I’ve not yet seen a candidate who has earned it. I wish other voters would do the same regardless of party.

You can claim I’m shaming, but I call balls and strikes regardless of the topic or person. I’m certainly not perfect and I don’t wish anyone else to be either. I just want people to own up to what they do and say regardless of personal convenience.
