14 Thoughts on “All we need to know about the Tea Party, AFP & ALEC; Koch Brothers

  1. Winston on October 26, 2013 at 3:58 pm said:

The growing emergence of the Koch brothers and their political appendages speaks to the political realities of a post Cold War America. Where their talent and financial resources have gone from being used to stall or prevent communist dominance over their wealth to now a battle with the American people, in an attempt to keep and grow their wealth in the absence of an other credible world super power to preoccupy them or place them in check.

First they feared and challenged the Soviets, now they have turned on the American people who helped them to win the Cold War. Their agenda is not about what is or is right for America, rather it is about what is right for their own personal interests and ambitions.

In the early 1990s, with the end of the Cold War, many in the West were extremely happy and proud, boasting of all of the new promises which were to come like the “Peace Dividend.” George H.W. Bush even called it a “New Age;” but the reality is that the end of the Cold War ushered in a new political imbalance both internationally and domestically. Causing nation state conflicts to run a muck, terrorism to build, and oil wars in the absence of any fear of mutually assured destruction to proliferate. These imbalances empowered the conservative elite in this country to turn on its own people for their own wishes, because the true enemy of their greed and the maintenance of their wealth status was no longer found in the Kremlin, but rather on Main Street…. Comrades (no pun intended) the battle has been enjoined!

Thanks for the link and the commentary. These guys own noem and the tea party. A lot of states are dealing with their many agendas. Voter ID prolly the most serious. Virginia will deal with their voter suppression next week. North Carolina is dealing with it concerning voter suppression for blacks. Here’s what the Kock bros have cooked up in Texas.

  3. The Kock brothers. Yet another boogie man in the closet to give cover to the real money buying power.

100 million or 4.4 billion. Hmmm

I guess that’s why Obummer bailed out GM and Chrysler, gave the companies to the UAW and threatens to shut down coal.

How did the gov bail out GM and you ask:

So the next time you see an ad for Ally bank remember that’s your money buying your time.

How has Obummer repaid the unions for their 4.4 billion dollars.

Keep watching the bouncing ball in this hand while the other hand rapes you. Hows that party politics working out for ya?

If you want to defeat Noem stop using the MSNBC talking bullshit and point out her obvious conflicts of interest, lack of education or experience and horrible attendance record.

The Koch brothers and Crazy Kristi. Makes for an interesting farm bill. Maybe too interesting for South Dakota farmers and ranchers! (And those on food stamps).

Kochs on the right, Soros on the left. The billionaires spend money on influence. Been going on forever. Their cool when it is your side they are spending it on and terrorists when they spend it on the opposition.

Soros didn’t shut the Government down for 16 days causing a constitutional crisis, a fiscal crisis, a monetary crisis, and lessening the credibility of the United States within the international community, however.

The Soros boogeyman is always thrown out by those who spend too much time being sucked in by the Faux News Network.

I think Sheldon Adelson more than counterbalances Soros – and then you’ve still got the Kochs on top of that.

The real story here is VoterID. By who? The likes of the Koch bros.

    Long, but worth the watch.

stop using the MSNBC talking bullshit

What is happening in Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, nationwide for that matter is very real and very dangerous. Why do you want to kill the messenger?

My son’s Wells Fargo Student Loan is now an Ally Bank Loan, Hmmm….

Winston .. you listen to Obama and Harry Ried too much. None of those things happened. They were just threats by the left to justify their name calling of the right. The Dow opened at 15,117 on Oct 1st and closed at 15,373 the last day of the shutdown. Where was the crisis? As for our credibility with the world, that has been eroding for awhile, not because of 16 days in October.

  12. Oh Polly, so much wisdom in your posts. What original, thought provoking commentary.

Yes. Proving that you have the earned the right to vote is such a bitch.

Where is your compliant about having to get a drivers license? Oh right, you’ll point out that is a privilege.

How about the right NOT to buy HEALTH insurance, nope, you’ll say that’s for the betterment of society.

What about having to buy a fishing license to catch a bullhead, you’ll say “it’s for conservation”.

Proving who you are to preform the most important task of being an American, A TRAVESTY.

Where is your outrage at the states that require people to join unions if they want to work in certain businesses or trades?

I’m sure your moveon.org postings are outstanding as well. I think Jed Clampett sums it up best for you “California is a place you outta be”.

LJL, if you truly believe what’s happening in Texas and North Carolina is not voter supression, then you are a perfect Koch brother lemming. Unless you’re a fellow multi millionaire, you are pissing into the wind and too stupid to realize it.
