Lately it seems everyone wants to have coffee with Detroit Lewis, and boy the stuff I have been a hearing.
One person told me this last week, “Erica Beck is NOT a consensus builder.“
My first reaction was a small giggle, because I already knew this.
Like Duh.
Anyone who runs a closed government like she does (she is running the city, not Poops) is NOT into hearing someone else’s opinion on the matter.
The statement wasn’t from a current or former city employee but someone who knows Beck professionally.
I got the feeling this person was NOT to keen on her running for mayor.
Neither am I.
Now that the Dakota Scout has become the city’s state media I have a feeling more folks are going to want to buy me coffee. I’m all ears!
I can’t agree more, she is no good. No good for employees or the city or really any municipal job
Just what this city doesn’t need is another smug Mayor with a super sized ego. Who will provide the largest campaign donation, Matt Paulsen, Lloyd Properties or Poops himself?
