Should be recommended viewing in HS civics classes across the the country and law schools and they should be required to right an essay about it. Now that’s some DEI Liberal Transgender ideology.
History will not be good to Mitch McConnell. If he had led the Republicans in helping the Democrats to impeach Trump after the January 6th incident, we would not be in this current mess. McConnell was concerned about the legalities of impeaching and disqualifying a former president, but if you raise such constitutional questions, then in the latter months of any presidential term, a president, whether “official duties” or not, could do whatever without fear of impeachment, given the time it often takes to process such an indictment.
