Dykstra’s new TV ad

A very strange ad.

I saw this last night on TV and was confused by the AD. All it does is attack Johnson for not debating him, but doesn’t talk about what issues Dykstra stands for. I would think someone with limited funds would take every opportunity to tell South Dakotans what he stands for. Joel, you really need to get over this debate thing, the Scott Tissue company is having a hard time keeping up with production.

I’ll have more tommorrow on the sales tax increase vote, but I wanted to point out some memorable moments. In chronological order

– Munson gaveled me because I said the board of ethics was politically appointed. I asked him if he appointed them, he said yes. He belongs to a political party (Republican). I guess he had a problem with the truth. He really should run for governor.

– I overheard the #1 developer in SF bitchin’ about public input in the bathroom to a friend. When he noticed I walked in he sarcastically said to his friend “But, it’s America, and they have that right.” then they both laughed.

– De Knudson told me she was tired. She must volunteer her time on the council like I volunteered my time to tonight . . . yeah . . . right.
