Just out of curiosity, I went to the Pavilion’s website today to see who is working there. But I could find no such list. So I checked other prominent museums in the region, they all had listings. What is the Pavilion trying to hide? I would advise them to read this terrific article about workplace fear.

5 Thoughts on “Why doesn’t the Pavilion have a staff or board member listing on their website?

Personally, I think it’s because they have so much turnover of staff…not the Board…but staff itself…that it makes it too difficult to keep up with the updating and YES I agree with the article about workplace fear…

Really? You know how long it takes me to post something on my website? About 5 minutes. We don’t live in a world where it takes you 30 minutes to upload ‘Oregon Trail’ to your Commodore 64. This is a blatant attempt at secrecy. You would think someone would be proud to be serving on the WashPav board. In fact, if I was on it, I would tell everyone.

DUH! I didn’t put enough dripping sarcasm (where is that sarcasm font??) in my comment…sorry. It’s a strange three ring circus (I’d say elephant but I think it’s more than that) there.

Well I have a girlfriend who volunteers there occasionally, basically when she feels like it on the day she is assigned. She does it because the volunteers get to attend some of the shows free.
