Mike Huether named a national holiday for himself. Finally, Sioux Falls has won independence from the narcissist dictator whose name doesn’t belong on anything.
I must be missing something. We’ve never been around for the 4th, at least not in SF. What exactly will be different from this year than in the past 8?

Independence Day is somewhat sacred. It’s a time to observe the Declaration of Independance. It’s the fight and substance for democracy. A form of government meant for the people more than aristocracy. Huether represented nothing but himself. Rich, poor, or the rest of us he didn’t deserve a holiday named for himself. Thomas Jefferson (author of the Declaration) and his friend John Adams died one hour apart on July 4th.
