What was interesting about Janet’s proposal was that not a single city councilor had a comment about her proposal, which means they will kill it if it gets before them, because not only do they hate transparency, they hate ethical behavior even more. Janet pointed out that there used to be ethics training for city employees, the BOE and the elected officials, but that ended when they fired City Clerk Debra Owen. I know, shocker.   1. The corruption continues. It’s just so obvious that these 6 will continue to protect each other, no matter what. All under the direction from Mayor no tie. So looking forward to next election. Hoping for candidates that aren’t self serving and controlled by the wealthy.

    Introducing legal principle and practice (Brekke’s a lawyer) is unacceptable for the city mafia. Teflon Ten and the council steer toward their means and the wealthy. It’s built in to the charter and we must accept it because there’s no way to change it.
