Paul’s newest advisor, Jenna Harris, comes from San Diego where she served as an advisor to a city councilor there. One of her achievements was this;

Seeing the need to divert solid waste and raise awareness of climate action goals, I designed and implemented the City’s Pumpkin Composting Pilot Program, diverting thousands of pounds of Halloween pumpkins from the landfill.

There is so much turnover in the Mayor’s Office lately, one has to wonder who is advising him and if this advisor had anything to do with white washing the sustainability recommendations? I think Charlie Brown would have something to say about it.

  1. Cinderella’s coach, Jack-o-lanterns, your such a little pumpkin, a Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Center, pumpkin patch, pumpkin pie: One will take you for a ride, one will scare you, one is so cute, one will awake you, one will stop you, one will immerse you, but only one is truly edible. But when you are dealing with a pumpkin, make sure you are aware of the radius around you. Else, it’s infinity will consumer you instead. Just because Hollywood can give you 90210 doesn’t mean that all numbers with entertaining characters add up. AND, remember, that Roundup will give you pie, but be sure to not kill the patch.

  2. Marilyn – It is because it is easier to manipulate young professionals into your line of thinking because they are trying to build a resume. They also have NO historical knowledge of city government. I think the mayor needs to concentrate on being a leader instead of a mentor and Sunday school teacher.
