The new bike trail spur from Falls Park to Bahnson has basically been open, but they don’t plow it. They barely finished it before winter set in, so there really hasn’t been an unveiling but it is completed. Before the project was even finished this Fall this rock showed up. I found it funny that they had to make sure the sponsor rock was there before anything else. Pathetic.

Notice it is Broin, you know, the folks involved with Tre (Lyre) Ministries. I still think there is a ton of corruption going on with that project, but I just can’t finger it. But I am working on it. Ethanol is a scam, probably bigger then bottled water.
Scott,
Ethanol is a scam. The S.D Corn Growers used to sponsor our sprint car team in the 90’s. At the time, Dan Issingmer (spelling) was in charge of the organization at the time, or at least one of the marketing specialists. They would give us $2,000 a year, plus more where we mixed, blended more ethanol in with our Methanol (race fuel). The more we blended in, we found that it caused engine damage, damaged o’rings, rubber seals, fuel pumps, etc,. We mixed as much as 75% that is when we began seeing big problems. Yes, we could play with the fuel/air mixture by playing with different fuel injector combiations, but when we used more than 30% we saw head gasket issues, My dads opinion, 10% maybe ok, but 85% bad. But we also found, gas stations were heavily compensated the more ethanol they pushed through their tanks, and that is when as a repair shop, we began to see engine issues. Some of the same issues we were experimenting with in racing. Not only that, people need to remember, ethoanol is a corn starch, its heavier than actual gasoline, even methanol which is a wood type chemical. Ethanol settles at the bottom of your fuel tanks, and all that sugar/starch just plugs up your fuel lines. That is where the issues begin. Ethanol is the largest scam ever created, I refuse to use it. And farmers who sell their soul to push ethanol for nothing more than larger farm subsidies, kick backs from the Corn Grower Associations, are just killing their farms. Then they cry when Donald Trump takes away their subsidies. You could talk to my dad about his experiences with Ethanol, both in racing, and as a automotive repair shop owner. he will tell you all the pros and cons…
Man, don’t get me going about bottled water! It’s the 20th and 21st-century snake oil.

Is it the engine or is it ethanol? Henry Ford first made his vehicles with the idea, especially for farmers, so that they would run-off ethanol and give farmers, especially, energy independence with the help from their own energy conversion mechanisms or stills.
