Looks like Fran may have a chance. Kennedy says she is dropping out for personal reasons, some suspect Teddy’s brain cancer, but I have also heard she wasn’t going to be asked because Governor Patterson got annoyed by Kennedy’s lawyers (what did I say about giving seats to elitists? Huh? Huh?) Kinda hard to get rejected when you are not in the running anymore. Way to save face Caroline!
Obama’s counsel advises him to retake oath to quell the media about Roberts fumble (mainly FUX News and Wallace). So he retook the oath last night. But only allowed print media, which of course pissed off the TV news, again, mainly FUX News and Wallace.

When I first read this story, I thought it was a joke. Nope. The Pavilion has decided that they aren’t wasting the public’s time and money fast enough.

As to the oath thing: Obama was officially president at noon eastern time on 1/20/09. The oath or lack thereof does nothing to change that. Wallace is an idiot.

I just read the transcript. Questioning it is politicizing it? That means that everytime somebody questions Saint Obama, it’s politicizing. Wow. I can see it now. Suppression of free speech like you’ve never seen it.
I didn’t have a problem with Wallace questioning it, it is when he ‘assumed’ on his own that it may be unconstitutional. Wallace may be smart, but he ain’t no constitional law professor, Obama was.
FUX news is just mithed because Obama snubs them in press conferences, and who can blame him. This is the same network that helped the Bush Administration lie about Iraq, CIA operatives, and No Child Left Behind. And after the ribbing Obama took from O’Reilly, I doubt he wants much to do with them.
I don’t blame Obama for whatever he does or doesn’t do regarding FOX. That’s politics.
O’Reilly, FYI, has been fairer with Obama than Olbermann had been with Bush.
How do you figure? Obama has been president for 2 days, Bush was president for 8 years. I would hope Olbermann was taking Bush to task more often, he is one of the few MSM pundits who have.
I found this comment on the AL site in reference to the Rounds article and Tim Rave to be interesting but not surprising. What is Pierre? A big Hoot Colony?

In response to #9…Yeah but Obama has been running for president ever since he got elected to the Senate…and he’s constantly been in the media for almost three years. Olbermann & Co. never challenged him, they beatified him.
How can you challenge policies that have not been implemented yet? I don’t agree with Obama on a lot of issues, but I’m not gonna rail on him about it until he actually has a chance of implementing them. Lots of Bullshit is thrown around in campaigns, that’s a given. Trust me, you’ll see criticism from me, guaranteed, when the time comes.
