During the recount of Theresas recent election, Theresa and Randy Seiler witnessed a recount of the ballots, but why didn’t they expect them to look for irregularities so they could win the election?
This thought of mine isn’t Trumpian, because you would be legitimately looking for evidence to win in a process, a recount that is, that is legal and just. Unlike Trumpians who made allegations without facts and claimed the burden of proof was on the accused, or the vote counters.
Because how do you think Daschle won in ’78? He was initially certified the victor with what I believe was a 14 vote lead, if my memory is right, then after eight months in the courts, Daschle expanded his lead to 128, I believe, and the matter was settled.
The city recount we experienced last year was nothing but a recount, but where was the advocacy to win in a just and legal matter? In a close election such a advocacy is ethical and necessary, if the people are going to truly win.
Challenging ballots is not storming the Capitol. It’s a smart and decent way to win a close election.
