Two things that will get me out of the house, free food and 5 blocks away 🙂 The pasta salad was fantastic!

I had a chance to talk to several candidates. A word of advice, the younger candidates need to loosen up a bit, they are wound tighter than a $2 watch.

One of the things I heard the most was the nastiness of the SD GOP Chair, Dan Lederman. You know that non-Christian guy who has a business in Iowa and lobbies for the Theocrat Saudis and CO2 pipelines.

His comment about the ‘clown car’ struck a nerve, and they are on fire about it. Dan would surely know what a clown is since he practices the art everyday.

It was a great event and the Dems need to duplicate events like this in every county and town in the state.

I couldn’t make it. I had other obligations, but from the looks of it, it looks like there were more people there than at the Saturday night banquet in Ft. Pierre for the State Democratic Convention. I think there were only about 50 at the Ft. Pierre event. Which is just further proof on how the Dems, to win statewide, need to only consecrate on Minnehaha and about 16 other potentially purple counties in this state. Don’t waste anytime at Camp Cook, like Bille did in ’18, when you should be in Sioux Falls.

( and Woodstock adds: “Say, when a bunch of Republican clowns begin to fart while together in a clown car, ain’t that kinda like a CO2 pipeline containment?”… )

They’re not used to retail politics. They think that FB is the answer to everything.

And say, how did the “Libertarian” senate candidate do? Did he criticize Republicans again without offering Democratic solutions? …. You know, Libertarians can do that, too.

  3. “concentrate”…. Although, they probably should consecrate Minnehaha and some other counties as well …. the Dems, that is….

Libertarian Senate candidate? Who is that?

  5. Well, here is our current Democratic senate nominee speaking to the very conservative Federalist Society as an advocate of natural law, which is the crux of libertarian thought:

I might also remind you, that the current Libertarian candidate for the US House was allowed to address the State Democratic Convention last Friday. So, maybe this is all okay, what do I know?

“‘Federalist Society’?”….. “Ain’t they the ones who gave us Comet, Cupid, Donner, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett?”….

Glad to hear others were offended by Lederman’s ‘clown car’ snipe. “Way to foster more division, Mr. Blowhard.” What a classless jerk. If the GOP is so strong in SD, any single GOP candidate/elected official/party officer et al ought to be regarded dispensable. If SD Republicans had any ethics, they’d tar & feather that creep for such a stunt and boot him out of the state.
