Greg genuinely cares for the city. Elected, he’d likely weed out some of the fraud and developer favoritism. It would be nice to restore democracy by implementing a new charter. He could be the one and only mayor to leave office without making himself rich from political payoff. Sioux Falls must some day have a female mayor. However, they’re busy fighting off male oppression from charter cleptocracy.
I miss the good old days when most Republicans were like Greg. But today, the GOP is dominated either by acquiescent enablers or fascist/mobsters. Although just about every Republican right now is pretty much an enabler to the ‘Clockwork Orange’ mess that we have in the White House, I’m afraid. Because I’m sorry, but I can’t support any Republican right now in a non-partisan race as long as the GOP continues to make our democracy dysfunctional by allowing that clown to stay in the White House. In fact, I don’t think I could even be a part of a criminal jury that convicts anyone, guilty or not, right now, as long as the 34-count New York felon gets to stay in the White House and destroy it and our country with a reckingball.
