Let’s get wet
If you want, or do not want an indoor pool in SF, make your opinion known tonight;
Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation will be holding a public meeting to discuss the Master Plan for Spellerberg Park from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today at Oyate Community Center.
This plan will address the possibility of a new indoor aquatic facility and other park renovations. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their vision of what Spellerberg Park should be.
Oyate Community Center is at 2421 W. 15th St., attached to Garfield Elementary School.

Cory at Madville gives us an update on Gant-Gate

The Jason Gant scandal has grown to the point where the embattled Secretary of State has to tell that Sioux Falls paper that allegations of incompetence and corruption against him are “false and untrue†(memo to the Secretary of State: false and untrue mean the same thing). I find three new elements to the story worth mentioning this morning:

Jennifer’s Musings is going silent so I can devote my time to my sick and dying Father. I am sincerely grateful to those readers who expressed concern and offered words of comfort and prayers. This is a very difficult time for my family and me. My focus is on what is truly important – love of family and commitment and support to a father who has shaped my life and provided me with guidance, love and support my entire life. Good-bye.
