I don’t know a lot of details at this point, but I do know their contract was approved 5-0 by the Commission and two of the main factors for approval was quality of services and response times.

Great to see a local company getting the contract. Units of government need to support local companies when possible.
Good for Med Star. No pay off . The honest company wins.
As I told County Commissioner Barth today, it’s good having competition and 2 providers in the region. If one of them is not able to keep up due to unforeseen circumstances or a major natural disaster, there is always a fall back.
