  1. I heard Neitzert took his box, then immediately opened it up to look for the prize inside. Sarah asked: What are Fruit Loops? While the other Taupester council members/mayor found the rainbow boxes to be too colorful for their likes.

  2. Taking away abortion rights, forcing governments to fund religious education, and a majority of our political leaders ignoring PRIDE. We are increasingly being led by a taupe-ish elite, whose powers and electability are forged from a coalition of upper income indifference and greed, and lower income ignorance.

  3. Continuesly trying to force us to accept your beliefs or ideals is the perfect way to cause division. The LGBTQ people cannot force us to attend a pride event, nor can you stop us from funding a religious school or function. You democrats will eventually learn these facts to be true.

  4. ‘Commercial at Council’. This’ll be on a few web sites. Maybe YouTube. Budweiser might pay for attention passing out beer.

  5. As an elected official, you have a duty to recognize all peace loving people, especially when they are your constituents.

If you want to fund a religious organization that just fine. I do as well, but I don’t expect my tax dollars to do it. Freedom of religion means the right to practice it. It does not mean the right or duty of government to promote it and or support it.

If there is any true division out there, it comes from those who are not tolerant of others, or those who are paranoid about their faith’s relevance and existence. Jesus taught us to be tolerant; and to have faith is have the ability to sustain ones faith absent a government hand out.

  6. I had a dream I was eating a box of Fruit Loops while camping ….. I am still trying to process this dream ….

  7. Another creative way to make fools of the mayor and council. And, in less than 5 minutes. I’m thinking a private contest with a $1,000 prize.

  8. I believe that ALL our elected City Council Members respect all “residents” within the City. It has nothing to do with whether or not they attend all these one off events here and there or not. If you actually look at the policies adopted by the past few City Councils 2016-2018, 2018-2020, and the current one of 2020-2022 – they have adopted resolution after resolution to show their support for all factions of people from immigrants to whites, to blacks, to yes, the LGBTQ people. Some of you simply wish to ‘drag’ their names thru the mud just cause they DO NOT attend every little event in the city. You attack the Mayor for wanting to spend time with his family on Fathers Day Weekend, you attack Sarah Cole claiming she is Anti-LGBTQ cause she voted no on the latest resolution, but yet she did so cause ‘we’ already adopted a resolution in 2018 still in effect, and you attack Greg Neitzert cause he chose to vote no cause he felt “government” should NOT get involved in personal beliefs and activities of private people.

Government’s role is only to best manage, and maintain Public Buildings, Places, Things, and to Protect Our “Natural Rights” and their policies over the past 6 years show they have for the most part PROTECTED “Your Natural Right” of Life, Liberty, Property, and Prosperity. Stop making up baseless claims and allegations.

  9. Sarah says we already have a resolution. Greg says we shouldn’t “get involved in personal beliefs and activities of private people”. I’m old enough to remember when overall good Republicans tried to back pedal their votes against federal civil rights legislation by claiming their then support for states’ rights…. Oh, and the list goes on…. AND, just the other day, in fact, I heard Senator Rounds say he couldn’t support the current gun legislation going through Congress because of the boyfriend exclusion and how it would be changed, and thus, deny a boyfriend the right to buy a gun because of two misdemeanors ….. BUT, wait a minute, didn’t Jason Ravnsborg just get impeached and convicted of impeachment, and thus removed from office and barred from holding future state office because of two misdemeanors? …. Oh, the excuses some make…. The excuses …..

( and Woodstock adds: “Ya, and how about: ‘Not tonight, I’ve got a headache’…” …. )

  10. I’m thinking of giving some public input dressed as a new taupe slab house, without a basement, from a town that has now had four tornadoes in the last two in a half years.

  11. “Like I’ve been saying all along”…. “This current mayor will go done in history as our ‘Tornado Mayor’…”…. (“And if memory serves we right”…. “We had a ‘Locust Mayor’ back in the Dirty Thirties”…. ) …. #VeryBiblicalIndeed

  12. just wait until taxpayers are funding muslim schools. or the hutterites. and what about baptists now funding catholic schools?

  13. Do you know what the difference is between a Baptist and Methodist? Well, when two Methodists meet each other by chance at a liquor store, they then acknowledge each other, while two Baptists in a liquor store act like they know no one else in the store.

  14. Kolbe is a lonely old man who thinks he is witty. His antics are just a more mature version of what David Z does. Wastes everyones times with props and likes to display egotistic behavior to give himself a sense of purpose.

  15. I heard Kolbe is to be featured on a future episode of Extreme Couponing.

  16. anominous,

Some of us are older liberals, so it’s a politically incorrect play on words. At times, we like to be politically incorrect, because it makes us naughty and fun. AND, we’re not as uptight as some of our fellow liberals who allow themselves to live in a mullah bubble. (Wait a minute, was that last sentence PC enough?)
