Republicans in Pierre don’t want to give kids free lunches, but yet, they want to “protect” them from transgender medical procedures. So, apparently, for some children, the GOP wants them to continue to struggle with their identity, while going hungry. Perhaps, this strategy could better be known as the “No Trans Fat Zone”.
“I know there’s no such thing as a free lunch”…. “But seriously, if rich developers can have TIFs, then why can’t middle class kids have a free lunch?”…. “Heck, even Taupeville would qualify, and although they don’t need it, people in fat houses usually appreciate another meal, and we all know why they need those big houses”….
It can’t be this bleak. There’s a lot of imposed pressure. Deal with it. When it’s bad it can go wrong but can’t get worse. Diversification in this country has led to major separatism. It’s not just race, religion, cult, or sexual orientation. Teens become adults to soon. A school shooting is a video game. Teen pregnancy has become a welfare career. There has always been a cycle. When it’s time to come together it will happen. Unfortunately it must take a serious disaster or war. There’s a reason most of the rest of the world wants to become US citizens. It’s freedom with representative government. The time has come to clean house and reinvigorate democracy.
