How about some sneakers to go with that new blazer!!
I don’t wear a tie because my neck size is 19. Try to buy a shirt for me you can button in order to wear a tie.
Bloomberg likes to wear ties.

My horoscope on Friday,
‘A power suit doesn’t make a person powerful, but it can affect how powerful a person feels. Ask a superhero; the outfit matters.’
PTH must be Captain Converse!
The next time you see him, call him “Chucky Taylor.”
so you don’t like it when the council tells you what not to wear (ie a hat in a meeting) but you get to dress the mayor; a bit hypocritical; did he wear a tie when running for office? why would he suddenly change just to please you?
MJ, actually, I’m with you on this one. I grew up as a punk rock kid, I think sneakers and ripped clothing is cool, and I actually like it when people in power dress down. I actually commend the mayor for the dress code. As a person who has watched city council meetings for a long time, I have noticed that city staff actually feels more relaxed being able to be casual. I have a running joke at work when people make fun of my casual attire though I kind of sorta manage a department, ‘Pay me a professional wage, and I will dress professional.’ I’m with Daily Spin on this, my neck is too big for a tie.
