I’m waiting until they start trying to enforce the sales tax on online purchases and that supposed sales tax on goods purchased in other states where the sales tax is lower.
I wouldn’t put it past one of our less savvy legislators to think this would actually bring in more money than it would cost to collect.
They can’t even figure out simplistic vehicle registration software what makes you think they will be able to track internet sales?

Typical of R’s in this state. Rather than look at funding government fairly- they look for shady/ tricky ways to tax the poor or lower income workers.
