One needs to look a little further as to who pushed the story to the media. (McCain camp). This is race baiting. The police had their doubts from the get go, but the McCain camp made sure to alert the media.
I’m watching the GOP selling offensive racially stereotypical/biased Obama Waffle Mix, seeing Curous George/Monkey stuffed items sold and brought into Palin rallies, seeing and reading about the Obama Bucks — complete with chicken and watermelon given out. How hateful, racially/politically incorrect and offensive can a party be? Where are the upstanding MORAL, FAMILY, PROLIFE, PRODIGNITY people speaking out and demanding better or their party?
This is beyond offensive and appropriate and to watch one party travel far down the lowest road possible … they deserve the huge losses on election night and do some serious looking at themselves in the mirror.
I do think if McCain loses he will reflect on the mistakes he has made in his campaign and become the old John McCain again. I wouldn’t be surprised if he works with Obama on legislation, including getting our troops out of Iraq safely.
